Alex Outhred’s comprehension of poker strategy comes from many angles. Literally! As an associate producer with the WPT for 3 seasons, Alex spent countless hours scrutinizing every detail of every aired and non-aired hands; often from four simultaneous camera angles. Alex capitalized on his unprecedented insight into world-class live play by cashing in his first WSOP event in 2005, and final-tabling his first WPT event at Mandalay Bay in 2006. Having written and developed the initial curriculums for the world’s elite poker camps, Alex is adept at assessing and developing players' specific levels of comprehension of the game. This ability has not only vaulted his status as a premier instructor, but has elevated his own play, most recently finishing 54th in the 2008 WSOP Main Event.
