Tristan Wade is a confirmed child of the "Moneymaker Effect". After seeing Chris's performance in the 2003 WSOP Wade decided to educate himself more about the game, and after reading a few books began playing low stakes online games and home games around Orlando, FL.
After honing his skills, he attended his first WSOP as soon as he was 21 in 2006. A year later he made a deep run, placing 163rd for $51,398 which is his highest live cash to date. Since then, he's amassed over $250k in live cashes, over $1 million in online cashes, and still had enough time to complete his BS in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
But Tristan isn't just well known for being a player. He began blogging at the 2008 WSOP ( http://www.tristancre8ive.blogspot.com) and gained popularity quickly, resulting in a spot as 1 of 3 featured bloggers on pocketfives.com. He's also been named a moderator of the site due to his contributions to the community and his status as a role model for up and coming players. Due to this status and popular demand for his insight, Tristan has recently begun coaching players on how to improve their game.
DeepStacks University is proud to announce the addition of this up and coming star.
